During midday The client interacted with his peers in a positive manner while at lunch. In the afternoon The client was able to remain focused and ignore distractions while doing station work. QMHP-C greeted the client upon arrival to the school setting. During morning observations, QMHP-C redirected The client and reiterated the importance of follow directions and sitting quietly in class. Midday QMHP-C provided The client with verbal praise and encouraged him to continue to interact with his peers in a positive manner. In the afternoon QMHP-C provided The client with positive reinforcement and prompted him to continue to remain focused and ignore distractions. The client responded well towards Therapeutic Day Treatment Services as evidenced by positive feedback and participation. During morning observations, The client was unreceptive to redirection by getting up and leaving the classroom. The client was then able to calm down and agreed to follow directions and sit quietly while in class. Midday The client agreed to continue to interact with his peers in a positive manner. In the afternoon The client continued to remain focused and ignore distractions. He also agreed to continue to track behavior on his self-monitoring chart.
